Shailene Woodley can't keep her hands--
or rather, lips--off Shiloh Fernandez in
her latest movie.
A clip montage from "White Bird in a
Blizzard," a coming-of-age indie film set
in the late '80s, was recently released
online and shows the two appearing to
make out about six times, including in a
swimming pool and in a crowded high
school hallway. The video features
Depeche Mode's 1987 song "Behind The
Wheel."
In the film, Woodley, who is 22 and
recently appeared in Divergent and The
Fault in Our Stars, sports crimped hair, a
questionable '80s fashion trend. She
plays 17-year-old Kat Connors, who is
abandoned by her mother, portrayed by
French star Eva Green. According to
Variety, the teenager loses her virginity
to hot next-door neighbor Phil, played
by 29-year-old Fernandez, as she
discovers the power of her sexuality.
Gaboury Sidibe of Precious and American
Horror Story plays one of her best
friends. Her show co-star Angela Bassett
plays Kat's therapist. White Bird in a
Blizzard also stars Christopher Meloni,
former of Law & Order: SVU, and Thomas
Jane, formerly of the racy HBO series
Hung.
The movie premiered at the Sundance
Film Festival in January and is set to be
released on iTunes and VOD on Sept. 25
before hitting theaters on Oct. 24.
